French wing Rayan Rupert has declared as an Early Entry Candidate for the 2023 NBA Draft. Rupert will turn 19 years old ahead of the draft in June.
The 6-foot-6 wing played this season for the New Zealand Breakers in Australia’s NBL. Rupert averaged 6.8 points and 2.4 rebound in 18.1 minutes per game. His season was impacted by a broken wrist on his shooting hand that he suffered in November.
Rupert is projected to be a mid-first-round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. Some mock drafts have him being selected in the late-lottery, while others have him being selected in the early-20s.
