The Toronto Raptors and Pascal Siakam see December 30 as a potential deadline to make a decision about a contract extension, sources told Michael Grange of Sportsnet.
A contract extension signed before December 30 would allow the Raptors the flexibility to trade Siakam next summer ahead of free agency.
With Siakam eligible to sign a four-year, $192 million extension, both sides have had discussions over the framework of a new deal since the start of the season.
The Pacers have expressed interest in Siakam, as well as OG Anunoby.
