Amidst trade rumors swirling around veteran forward Bojan Bogdanovic, the Detroit Pistons are standing firm on keeping the experienced player within their roster.
Despite inquiries from several teams, including the New York Knicks, the Pistons, currently at a challenging 2-18 record, have communicated that there are no immediate plans to trade Bogdanovic.
Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reported the Knicks’ past discussions with Detroit regarding potential trades involving Bogdanovic, but as of now, there’s no imminent deal in sight.
Bogdanovic, 34, has faced limitations this season due to injuries, participating in just two games. In those appearances, he has showcased his scoring prowess, averaging an impressive 22 points, along with contributions in rebounds and assists.
While trade talks might persist, the Pistons are banking on a healthy Bogdanovic to play a pivotal role in their quest for victories in the challenging 2023-24 NBA season.
