Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George is unsure whether the Indiana Pacers will choose to retire his jersey. He acknowledges that only a limited number of players have received that honor from the team, with longevity playing a significant role.

George reflects on the fact that players like Reggie Miller spent 18 years with the Pacers, emphasizing the importance of a prolonged and impactful tenure, which he feels he did not have during his time with the team.

“Honestly, you think about the guys, there’s only what, [four] guys that’s retired there,” George said. “But when you think about, again, the guys that are up there, Reggie, what, 18 years? I think for them it’s a longevity that stands out in that arena. I just didn’t play enough play long enough there.”
