New Indiana Pacer Pascal Siakam told the media after his debut that he only cares about winning (21 points/6 rebounds/3 assists/1 steal/9-14 FG/1-3 3-PT/2-6 FT/+17 +/- in Friday’s 118-115 road loss vs. the Portland Trail Blazers).
(via Indiana Pacers):
Dustin Dopirak: “What did you kind of learn tonight about where you fit, about how you fit with this group, and what’s most important for you to do?”
Siakam: “I think just continue to attack the paint… something that I feel like I’m great at, and continue to work hard and create mismatches and create advantages on offense, kick-outs. And then also when we slow down, I can definitely go out there and find a bucket, so I think that’s invaluable for this team. But also just a guy that plays with pace on both ends and just willing to go with the team and try to win. I just want to win games. At the end of the day, I really could care less about everything else. Everything I have to do to help us win, I’ll find those things and try to contribute.”
