What’s the buzz on Twitter?

Jon Hamm @JonMHamm
“The Rockets announced during the second half that Porter was questionable to return due to his left thigh being evaluated.”
What a weird euphemism for “got mad, left the arena and drove away” – 12:31 AM

Just a flat-out embarrassing last two nights for the Rockets both on and off the floor. It’s been awhile since they’ve been talked about nationally, but will certainly change – 12:21 AM

The hell is happening in Houston – 12:07 AM
Shams Charania @ShamsCharania
Sources: After Rockets assistant John Lucas called out multiple players including Kevin Porter Jr. and Christian Wood at halftime tonight vs. Nuggets, Porter had a heated exchange with Lucas, threw an object and promptly left the arena – and Wood refused to sub into second half. – 12:06 AM
David Hardisty @clutchfans
Kevin Porter Jr. is eligible to negotiate a big contract extension this offseason. There’s more to learn about what happened but straight up leaving the arena at halftime? That’s the kind of thing that could cost him millions. – 12:03 AM
Salman Ali @SalmanAliNBA
Can’t imagine the Rockets don’t at the very least fine, if not suspend Porter Jr. for that. Pretty inexcusable. – 11:55 PM
Marcus Thompson @ThompsonScribe
Warriors are 9-5 against teams currently with winning records, four coming on the road. And GSW has beaten every team it’s lost to, save for DEN
The current winning teams the Warriors have yet to play: MIL, MIA, WAS
Still gotta see CHI, MEM, DEN on the road – 11:52 PM
Tim MacMahon @espn_macmahon
Rockets point guard Kevin Porter Jr. lost his temper during a heated halftime discussion and didn’t return to the court, leaving the Toyota Center during the second half of tonight’s loss to the Nuggets, sources told @Adrian Wojnarowski and me.

We don’t have all the details of what happened, but my too-soon feeling on it: Breaking a team rule isn’t necessarily a strike against Christian Wood. His poor play/response to being benched for it is. Leadership includes taking responsibility. – 11:14 PM

Curry at 28 minutes. Imagine Kerr would love to bring him back at the 8-minute mark. But if he brought him back now with 9:48 left, he’d finish at 38 minutes. That’s a reasonable number given the extra day of rest after the Nuggets game was postponed – 11:01 PM

In four games since returning from a hamstring injury, #Rockets rookie Jalen Green is averaging 22.3 points on 48.1% FG, 51.5% from three (17-33 3P) and 87.0% at the line in 29.7 minutes per game. pic.twitter.com/DyYwaz4w6u10:33 PM

Nuggets 124, Rockets/Vipers 111. End of the Rockets bench reduced a 31-point lead to something unrelated to the game. Jalen Green did get 29 in 28 minutes. – 10:31 PM

Looked like Austin Rivers reinjured his right thumb just now. Walked off the floor and straight into the locker room. He was a game-time decision coming into tonight. – 10:31 PM
Adam Wexler @AdamJWexler
#Rockets lose to Nuggets, 124-111, it’s the Rockets 7th straight loss. Green with 29 pts (5-8 on 3’s) – 10:30 PM
Chris Dempsey @chrisadempsey
Mark this victory down as a “culture” win. Popeye Jones talked about just needing to supplement what is already in place with the #Nuggets, and he did a great job. But the players’ approach was stellar, and despite everything this team is enduring, they find ways to win. – 10:29 PM
Gordon Gross @GMoneyNuggs
Austin Rivers hurt that thumb again just falling on the floor. That’s unfortunate. Couple of real injuries in this game, no breaks for the Nuggets. – 10:29 PM

The Rockets are playing Jokic the way you’re supposed to: play him rough, trust the refs won’t call it, hope they do call him for some BS fouls and you can get him out of the game. And they’re currently getting blitzed by Denver’s other guys. It’s quite a nice change. – 9:45 PM

Aaron Gordon was too excited after that help block on Theis. Stepped out of bounds before another potential highlight. It’s fun watching the Nuggets play with excitement though, not gonna lie. I’ll take the mistakes. – 9:37 PM
