Joel Embiid had an unreal performance for the history books in Philadelphia’s 98-105 win over Utah.
Embiid scored more than half of the team’s total points, finishing with 59 on 19-of-28 from the field. Philly’s superstar added 11 rebounds, eight assists, seven blocks, and one steal to cap off an unbelievable night.
NBA Twitter was in awe with Embiid’s performance Sunday night.
I remember watching Joel Embiid playing at Kansas, and he looked special. I told Mario Chalmers, this guy is gonna drop 59/11/8 on November 13, 2022. I just had a feeling about it. pic.twitter.com/O9iyQ3t1Cj

Joel Embiid must’ve thought he was Wilt Chamberlain in 1961 tonight. Look it up if you need clarity. Carry on…

Embiid’s 59 points are what’s gonna make the headlines but don’t let it slip that the man scored 26 of the Sixers’ 27 points in the 4th quarter https://t.co/5OjEE6kTqp

Dont let this distract you from the fact that Embiid is 28 years of age and has NEVER made it past the second round

Embiid scored 101 points in 27 hours 🤯

It takes Embiid’s 59 career high points AND the help of the god awful officiating to beat this Jazz team.
Credit to this team for fighting though. Last year’s team would’ve lost by 20+ easilyyyyyy

Damn Embiid and PJ Tucker combined for 59 points. Crazy

on top of everything Joel Embiid did in the box score tonight, here he is jawing in Lauri Markkanen’s ear before two clutch free throws at the end of the game. Lauri then missed both. pic.twitter.com/jPRLF9fObo

Tyrese Maxey: “If you ask me any questions about anything other than Joel Embiid, I’m not answering them. I’m not even lying.”

I don’t think it’s being talked about enough that Joel Embiid had this performance against the number one seed in the Western Conference.

Been covering the NBA for 30 years and other than Michael Jordan NBA Finals tonight’s performance from Joel Embiid is the most dominating performance I’ve ever seen in person .

Joel Embiid is playing one of the best games in NBA history right now, don’t miss it.

Joel Embiid said he told Lauri Markkanen he had to put his son Arthur to sleep when he shot those free throws late in the first quarter, so he wanted him to miss to avoid overtime.
Embiid admitted he lied – he said Arthur is in bed every night at 7:30pm sharp.
