LeBron James and Steph Curry are two biggest names in the NBA. Aside from the differences in their playing style, there is a difference in their credibility, according to an NBA analyst Ric Bucher.

He compared recent comments from the two superstars as a reflection. As an example Bucher gave Curry’s reaction to his shooting slump that he is going through.

The three-time NBA champion did not look at excuses. Instead, he admitted that there is an issue that he wants to be fixed, at the same time saying that he is not preoccupied with it.

Then Bucher brought up LeBron’s response to a reporter who asked him about the need for James to score 30 points every night for the Lakers to stay in some games.

On one hand LeBron, who has been accused by Skip Bayless of chasing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record, denied that he is looking at the list of NBA’s scoring leaders, one the other hand he referred to how many points he needs to catch the Lakers legend.

Bucher also gave an real life example of James scoring two points with less 3 seconds to play in a loss against the Pacers when the opponents had the win sealed and did not even try to defend.

“He is, without question, playing every single game as if scoring is the most important thing he can do. Every other aspect of his game has flatlined or deteriorated,” Bucher said on his podcast On The Ball with Ric Bucher.
