Monaco strengthens roster with Bacon – News

Right after its third Turkish Airlines EuroLeague win in his maiden season on Tuesday, AS Monaco announced the addition of shooting guard Dwayne Bacon for one season. Bacon (2.01 meters, 26 years old) arrives from the Orlando Magic of the NBA, where he played 72 games in the 2020-21 season, averaging 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He also played for the Charlotte Hornets from 2017 to 2020, having played a total 207 games in the NBA. Bacon played college ball in Florida State from 2015 to 2017, averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 boards and 1.6 assists. He declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft after his sophomore season at college. Bacon is set to make his European debut with Monaco.
