LeBron James refuted the way a walk and talk interview with Sam Amick of The Athletic was characterized.
Amick indicated that “James made it clear this his patience is waning.”
Hey Sam actually my patience isn’t waning. You make it sound like I’m frustrated when I’m really not. I told you over and over, my job is focused on the guys in the locker room, my job isn’t the roster. That’s the reality of that conversation. And I said what I said with the https://t.co/NocLse0dVf

James was initially asked by Amick to describe his communication with Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss is like given his high level of play and the Los Angeles Lakers’ inactivity so far on the trade market.
“Man listen, I play the game,” James told Amick. “I worry about who’s in the locker room. I can’t — it’s not my … it’s not my job. I can’t do nobody else’s job.”
James was asked if the conversation with Pelinka and Buss is evolving.
“I’m working,” said James. “I don’t have time. We’re playing every other day, three (out of) four nights. I don’t have time to be…”
Amick asked to describe his patience level.
“They’re doing what they feel is best for the franchise,” said James.
Amick then asked James how he feels about that.
“I’m doing what’s best for my guys in the locker room. That’s all I can worry about. I’ll let y’all …”
Amick reported that James paused as he walked away and then shouted.
“Y’all know what the f— should be happening. I don’t need to talk.”
