LeBron James has been under a magnifying glass since entering the NBA 19 years ago. The former number one draft pick was asked recently if he ever thinks about consequences before taking a big shot.

The Lakers superstar admitted that that was the case when he was younger. Specifically, during his first spell with the Cavaliers and first year with the Heat. After that he changed his attitude and started caring about what other people think.

“No. Maybe when I was young because I cared about what everybody else thought,” the four-time NBA champion said on The Shop. “I don’t give a f*ck now.

“It probably changed to me about 25. I spent like seven years and then I went to Miami that first year and everything was about what everybody else thought. And then I just literally just like ‘I don’t give a f*ck what nobody think. I’m him.’

“If I don’t take it, who going to take it? I mean… It’s not even taking a shot. It could be taking a shot. It could be making the right play.

“I get sh*t for making the right play. Four motherf*ckers on me. Motherf*cker wide open right here We are a team. I trust them. Why wouldn’t I have thrown it to them? I don’t care about the results.”
