After not making any moves before the trade deadline, the Lakers are expected to be aggressive in the buyout market. One of potential targets for Los Angeles is Goran Dragic.
The Lakers were unable to find a suitable trade for the Slovenian point guard but remain interested in the veteran when he becomes a free agen.
Via Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN:
“The San Antonio Spurs and Goran Dragic are expected to negotiate a contract buyout in the coming week, clearing the way for a formidable list of free agent suitors for Dragic that now include the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, sources told ESPN.”
According to Woj, the Clippers, Bucks, Bulls and Nets are among the teams interested in the point guard. Dragic has only played five games this season for Toronto averaging 8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 18 minutes per game.
