Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel is still working on who will be in the starting lineup this season.
The veteran coach still has time to take his decisions, as the regular season tips off on October 19. Yet, he has no intention to make changes from game to game.
“Frank Vogel is undecided on a starting lineup still. But, one thing he wants to avoid is constantly changing it from game to game. They might change it sometimes if there’s a matchup that warrants it. But, for the most part, he wants the same 5 together to build continuity,” Lakers Nation reports.
Trevor Ariza will not be part of the Lakers starting lineup, at least for the foreseeable future. He will miss at least eight weeks with a right ankle injury. The veteran forward was among the top candidates for the starting lineup.
For his part, Frank Vogel will be waiting to see the condition of LeBron James and Russell Westbrook. Both superstars will start for the Lakers, alongside Anthony Davis. The question now is who will join the Big-3 in the starting lineup.
