The Los Angeles Lakers interim head coach David Fizdale says the team is still evaluating Malik Monk and Avery Bradley as they return from COVID-19 protocols before deciding how much they’ll play.
The newest Lakers members – Stanley Johnson and Darren Collison – will play against the Brooklyn Nets tonight. Both players have signed 10-day Hardship Exception contracts on Friday.
Fizdale confirms that Darren Collison worked out for the Lakers in the summer and looked “fantastic” while playing pickup with the roster. Coach says he got “real consideration” to make the roster in the summer.
