It was reported before that the 30-year-old point guard is prepared to play for Brooklyn whether Kevin Durant is on the team or not.
Recently more information came out to support the expectation that Irving will stay with the Nets.

Even if Kyrie does stay in Brooklyn, it is expected that he will eventually join the Lakers.
