Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors have not yet presented any official offers or counteroffers on a contract extension, sources tell Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
Thompson is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in 2024 if he doesn’t agree to an extension.
There isn’t a rush from either side on agreeing to an extension and there isn’t a deadline.
Thompson is owed $43.1 million this season.
The Warriors recently signed Andrew Wiggins to a contract extension and Draymond Green to a new contract that was considered a slight discount on what they could have possibly received elsewhere.
