Jordan Poole Addresses That Ice Spice $500K Date Rumor

Jordan Poole has finally addressed the rumor about him going on a date with rapper Ice Spice and dropping $500K on the outing.

Poole was at a meet and greet with fans this week and one young fan asked him straight up if the rumors were true.

“Definitely not,” Poole responded with. “Definitely cap!”

The rumor began in May of this year after American rapper, Cam’ron, called out Poole on his show It Is What It Is.

Cam’ron started the rumor by wildly declared that Poole’s subpar performances for the Warriors at the back end of last season were because of Ice Spice.

“This is not you from last year, bro. Go back to Milwaukee and figure it the f**k out and get back in the playoffs ’cause you look crazy,” Cam’ron said. “I had your back last year. You got n***** out here talking ’bout, ‘What was all that Jordan Poole you was poppin’?’ You f**king a munch. Nah, he’s a munch, ’cause I had his back.

“When you start dating the Ice Spices and the people, they say, ‘Boo watching, boo watching, let me get all crazy. She don’t give a f**k, she from the Bronx, bro. Fordham Road, have you been to Fordham Road? Jordan Poole, next time you go to New York, go around Fordham Road, Concourse, Highbridge, South Bronx. You gone see what you spent $500,000 on and be like, ‘Yo, I was wilding.’”

Poole is known for loving a baddie or two in the front row, but it looks like Ice Spice isn’t on the list.

Since joining the Wizards, the 24-year-old has been a little inconsistent after averaging 18.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

Last season for Golden State he averaged 20.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists.

His three-point shooting is slightly down from last year (33.3 percent compared to last season’s 33.6) but this is only from a small sample size of six games.

He has plenty of games to improve upon his stats for the Wizards this season.
