Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum is singing the praises of teammate Kristaps Porzingis, acknowledging the significant impact the towering 7’4” forward has brought to the team.
“KP. [last year], we didn’t have a 7’4 guy that we can throw the ball to when they switch. He can make the right play, score every time. It’s tough. Add that guy, we just got so many more weapons. I think KP is a big part of why it’s hard to guard us,” Tatum expressed, per Jedd Pagaduan of ClutchPoints.
This season, Porzingis has been a key contributor for the Celtics, averaging 20.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 30.6 minutes per game. His presence has added a new dimension to the team’s offensive capabilities.
