James Harden said he’s willing to do “whatever it takes to help this team continue to grow” after the Philadelphia 76ers were eliminated from the Eastern Conference semifinals by the Miami Heat in 6 games.
Harden added “I’ll be here” when asked if he would opt into his player option for next season.
It was reported earlier this month that Harden may not demand a max contract when he hits free agency.
Harden would be eligible to sign a five-year, $270 million deal should he decline his player option.
Harden scored 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting in Game 6.
