Hornets, city of Charlotte to upgrade Spectrum Center

The Charlotte Hornets and the city of Charlotte are collaborating on enhancing the Spectrum Center, the venue for the Hornets’ home games. The planned upgrades are set to occur during the off-seasons of 2024 and 2025, encompassing substantial renovations.

Rick Schnall and Gabe Plotkin, the new owners of the Hornets, are spearheading these initiatives. In addition to the Spectrum Center renovations, the franchise has outlined intentions to construct a new practice facility.
