Olympiacos Piraeus has made a tempting offer to Kendrick Nunn, the former Lakers and Wizards guard who is currently an unrestricted free agent.
According to Matteo Andreani, the Greek club has placed a two-year contract worth €5 million on the table, awaiting Nunn’s decision while he keeps his options open for a potential NBA return.
Nunn’s journey in the NBA has been tumultuous due to a knee injury that kept him sidelined for the entire 2021-22 season. During the 2022-23 season, Nunn averaged 6.7 points for the Lakers and 7.5 points for the Wizards
Previously, the ex-Laker had signed a two-year, $10 million deal with the Lakers in August 2021, but his injury woes prevented him from making a significant impact during his time in Los Angeles.
Now, with an enticing offer from Olympiacos on the table, Nunn faces a crucial decision that could potentially take him across the Atlantic to Europe. The Greek club is eagerly awaiting his response, but they also have other players in mind if Nunn decides to explore other opportunities.
