Houston Rockets forward Dillon Brooks and head coach Ime Udoka are feeling the financial impact of a recent heated exchange with game officials.
Brooks has been slapped with a $35,000 fine for employing inappropriate language towards a game official and publicly criticizing the officiating. Simultaneously, Udoka has received a $25,000 fine for directing inappropriate language at a game official.
The incident unfolded during the Rockets’ clash with the Milwaukee Bucks on December 17, culminating in both Brooks and Udoka receiving technical fouls and subsequent ejections.
The confrontation occurred with a mere 38 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of the game, ultimately resulting in a 128-119 loss for the Rockets at Fiserv Forum.
