When asked about attempting to block Wembanyama, White responded with a smile, stating, âIâm not an idiot. I was hoping heâd take another dribble, but he just picked it up, and I never saw it again. I assumed heâs going to take one more dribble. But yeah, that was crazy.â
White acknowledged Wembanyamaâs unique talent, emphasizing his length and the special qualities he brings to the court.
âHis length and the things he can do on the court are pretty special. Heâs just starting to come into his own, figuring out how to play in this league. Just a guy with his size to do what he can do is obviously pretty special. Heâs just going to keep getting better,â White praised.
