The Chicago Bulls stood pat at the trade deadline. Despite sitting in range of the Play-In Tournament and having several veterans on tradable contracts, the Bulls are running with what they have.
One of those veterans is DeMar DeRozan. Chicago would like to sign the veteran wing to a contract extension. That’s something DeRozan is reportedly open to, provided the offer is good enough.
In his three seasons with the Bulls, DeRozan has been the team’s best player. He’s stayed mostly healthy and has averaged 25.3 points, 5.1 assists and 4.7 rebounds in his Chicago tenure. DeRozan also made All-Star teams in 2022 and 2023, and All-NBA Second Team in 2022.
