Seven games took place on day eleven of 2021 NBA Preseason.

Memphis guard Sam Merrill exploded for 30 points on 8 made three pointers vs. Indiana.

Portland Trail Blazers

Robert Covington: A veteran you can count on. Also came up with 3 steals vs. Phoenix. 10 points, 6 rebounds

Larry Nance Jr: Defense in the paint will be needed by Portland this season. Versatile big man. 2 points, 4 rebounds

Trendon Watford: Watford is having a consistent preseason in short minutes. Undrafted rookie with potential. 4 points, 3 rebounds

Greg Brown: Didn’t shoot the ball well last night, but still blocked 2 shots on defense. Energetic rookie. 4 points, 5 rebounds

Phoenix Suns

Landry Shamet: Showing off solid versatility for his new team. Also dished out 4 assists vs. Portland. 12 points, 3-5 3-PT

Cam Johnson: Johnson’s jump shot and defense look great. Gets better every year. 11 points, 3-6 3-PT

JaVale McGee: Making a strong case for playing time. Also came up with 2 steals on Wednesday. 10 points, 5 rebounds

Cam Payne: Playmaker who doesn’t back down. Experienced point guard off the bench. 5 points, 4 assists

Chandler Hutchison: Runs the floor hard and defends. Style of play fits the Suns’ system. 7 points, 2-3 FG

Frank Kaminsky: Makes a difference in short minutes. Started in 13 games last season. 5 points, 10 rebounds

Chasson Randle: 28-year-old guard with skills on offense. Hoping for a roster spot. 5 points, 2-4 FG

Dallas Mavericks

Jalen Brunson: Underrated guard who keeps the game simple. One of the NBA’s best bench players in 2020-2021. 13 points, 5-8 FG

Dwight Powell: Experienced big man with athleticism. Very high motor. 9 points, 6 rebounds

Moses Brown: Center with a lot of potential. Brings rebounding, finishing at the rim, and pick & roll play. 10 points, 3 rebounds

Frank Ntilikina: Former New York lottery pick now with Dallas. Solid defender. 7 points, 3-4 FG

Willie Cauley-Stein: Veteran who knows his role. Underrated skillset. 4 points, 3 rebounds

Carlik Jones: Has stood out in different areas each preseason game. Multiple skills. 4 points, 3 steals

Eugene Omoruyi: The strength and feel for the game are there for sure. Brings energy on both ends. 5 points, 3 assists

Feron Hunt: Hunt is proving he deserves to be in the NBA. Impressive athleticism. 4 points, 2-3 FG

Charlotte Hornets

Cody Martin: Consistent player who fits in well with any lineup. Defends and gets out on the break. 11 points, 6 rebounds

Mason Plumlee: Brings defense and rebounding for his new Charlotte team. Averaged 9.3 RPG last season. 4 points, 4 rebounds

PJ Washington: Washington is likely to come off the bench more this year. Look for him to bring a huge spark. 4 points, 3 rebounds

Nick Richards: Working hard on both ends. Has a real chance to earn minutes in 2021-2022. 8 points, 9 rebounds

Memphis Grizzlies

Sam Merrill: Merrill balled out on Wednesday. Can get going at a very high level from deep. 30 points, 8-13 3-PT
