David Stockton has reached an agreement with the Phoenix Suns on an Exhibit 10 contract, according to a league source via Keith Smith of Spotrac.
This type of contract often serves as a pathway for players to join an NBA team’s G League affiliate, and in Stockton’s case, it looks likely he’ll soon be joining the Suns’ newly established G League team, the Valley Suns.
The Valley Suns acquired his returning player rights in a trade just a day prior, positioning Stockton for a role with the team.
