The Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat have emerged as potential suitors for a trade of James Harden, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Harden exercised his $35.6 million player option with the Philadelphia 76ers after it became clear he wasn’t in their long-term plans. The Sixers have already begun trade negotiations.
Harden is not eligible for a contract extension.
