Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch talked about his team’s inconsistent start to the year (13-14 record) following their 133-112 road loss vs. the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.
(via Minnesota Timberwolves):
Reporter: “In general, the inconsistency of this team. Is there a way to correct that or is it just something you continue to figure out what things to harp on to get up there? Because it seems like it’s one step forward and one step back in certain areas.”
Finch: “I mean that’s indicative of a team who is 13-14. You’re pretty much inconsistent by nature. At this point, there’s certainly not a magic button to push to help. I think our sharpness to start the game, that’s one thing that’s been an indicator for me, is that when we start sharp and locked in, is when we play well. I’ve said that all season, and tonight, we didn’t have that.”
