Chris Bosh stepped on the court for the first time since 2016, playing a couple of minutes during Goran Dragic’s retirement event, ‘I Feel Slovenia Night of the Dragon.’ It had been over 3000 days since he competed against other NBA talent. “It was very tough,” Bosh told BasketNews after the ‘I Feel Slovenia Night of the Dragon’ event. “It was the death of my career, to be honest.”

More on this storyline
“Any time dealing with loss and death and stuff like that, you go through grief. I had to do that for a few years,” he admitted. “I got over it. I believe it made me stronger. It made me focus on being more of a father.” Being a father of two is now bringing excitement to Bosh. “Yeah, every day! Mornings, breakfasts, dropping off, pick up,” he smiled. -via BasketNews / August 24, 2024
This occasion marked the first time Chris Bosh was actually coming back to the court after retiring from basketball in 2016. If that wasn’t enough, Steve Nash also played basketball for the first time in years, returning to the court at 50. Like the two-time MVP, Boki Nachbar and Sani Biberovic did the same. -via EuroHoops.net / August 24, 2024
In one of the most eventful and entertaining friendly encounters organized in European basketball, Goran Dragic had his last 40 minutes of fun in Ljubljana, officially retiring from the game. Alongside him, a company full of stars was present in the Stozice Arena for the “I Feel Slovenia Night of the Dragon”, organized to celebrate the legacy of the Slovenian icon. Just to name a few: Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Luis Scola, Chris Bosh, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Bogdan Bogdanovic. And a lot more. -via EuroHoops.net / August 24, 2024
