The Steph Curry show was on full display in the first half against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night at Chase Center.
The reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player looked in midseason form with a barrage of scoring in the first two quarters against Golden State’s Northern California rivals.
Curry got red hot in the second quarter, scoring a fiery 21 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field, including five triples on six attempts from beyond the arc. With under two minutes remaining in the second quarter, the eight-time All-Star got San Francisco’s Chase Center to erupt with a must-see sequence.
After Harrison Barnes pulled down a rebound, Curry stepped in to pick off his pass to De’Aaron Fox. Curry immediately pulled up for a wide-open 3-pointer. After his jumper swished through the net, Curry turned to the crowd to fire them up.
