The Milwaukee Bucks are set to ink a contract with Argentinian standout Luca Vildoza through the 2022-2023 season.
As reported by ESPN’s Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the 26-year-old guard will further enforce Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks on their road to back-to-back titles after recovering from his right foot surgery.
Vildoza suited up for three seasons under the banner of Baskonia in the EuroLeague and was their 2020 ACB Finals MVP. He signed a non-guaranteed deal with the New York Knicks last May 2021 but was released after two Summer League games prior to this season following the surgery he took.
Vildoza will fill the last roster spot of Milwaukee heading to the playoffs. He is expected to provide additional depth and backup ball handling support off the bench.
