Wizards star Bradley Beal is set to become a free agent if he does not exercise his player option this coming summer.
Over the years he has been linked with several teams and if opts to enter free agency, there will be plenty of interest in the 28-year-old shooting guard.
For Beal hearing the rumors about him is a positive thing because it shows that other teams want him.
Via James Herbert of CBS Sports:
“I’m kind of embracing everything,” Beal said, “so I’m not upset about the rumors, I’m not upset about, you know, teams wanting me. I feel like that’s a good thing, right? We put in the work and we’re wanted by a lot of people, not just where we’re at.”
Beal has spent 10 years — all of his professional career — in Washington. This season he averaged 23.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game before a season-ending wrist injury.
