KK Partizan Mozzart Bet Beograd (KLS) signed 29-year old American (has also Croatian passport) guard Jaleen Smith (190cm-93kg-1994, college: UNH). Smith already started the season at Virtus Segafredo Bologna in Italian Serie A. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 9 Serie A games he recorded 6.7ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.9apg. He helped them to win the Supercup. Smith also played 13 games in Euroleague where he averaged 5.3ppg and 1.5rpg. He has been regularly called to Croatian Senior National Team since 2022.
Smith has played previously professionally in Germany (ALBA Berlin, EnBW Ludwigsburg and MLP Academics Heidelberg) and NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns). He was voted to Eurobasket.com German Bundesliga All-Defensive Team in 2020 and 2021.
He graduated from University of New Hampshire in 2017 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.
