Ben Simmons Leaves Game With Knee Soreness, Ruled Day-To-Day

Ben Simmons left the Brooklyn Nets’ 109-102 win over the Orlando Magic in the second quarter due to left knee soreness and did not return.

Jacque Vaughn didn’t think Simmons would need an MRI and declared the swingman as day-to-day.

“We’ll check him day by day, see how he responds with a little treatment. See what it looks like (Tuesday),” said Vaughn.

Vaughn added that he believes the injury is due to an accumulation of games.

“No, I think more so than anything the accumulation of games. He hasn’t had this amount of accumulation of games over a period of a long time,” said Vaughn.
