Jacob Pullen
Gevi Napoli Basket (Serie A) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old Georgian-American ex-international 183cm point guard Jacob Pullen (college: of Kansas State, agency: AltusBasket) for season 2023-24. Pullen played most recently at Kuwait in Kuwaiti D1 league. In 10 West Asia Super League games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.5ppg, 2.3rpg and 4.3apg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Pullen was voted to Big 12 All-Defensive Team back in 2010 and 2011.
The previous (2022) summer he played at Purple & Black in U.S. semi-pro league TBT where in two games he averaged remarkable 24.0ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.0spg in 2022 year.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
Pullen also represented Georgia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 7.2ppg, 1.2rpg, 1.7apg, FGP: 33.3%, 3PT: 31.8%.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Pullen’s pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in twelve different countries. Pullen has played previously professionally in China (Flying Leopards), Croatia (Cedevita), Iran (Mahram), Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem), Montenegro (Mornar), Russia (Khimki), Slovenia (Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana), Spain (Barca), Turkey (Afyon), NBA (Philadelphia 76ers), Italy (Biella) and NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats).
He graduated from of Kansas State in 2011 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball. Pullen was selected to Big 12 All-Defensive Team back in 2010 and 2011.
