Guaros de Lara (SPB) signed experienced 37-year old Colombian-Spanish international power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206cm-108kg-1985). Tello-Palacios just played at Libertadores in Mexican LNBP. In 6 games he had 8.7ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg last season. He has been regularly called to Colombian Senior National Team since 2016.
Tello-Palacios is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Palacios-Tello has played previously professionally in France (Chalon/Saor and JSF Nanterre), Lithuania (Rytas, Neptunas and Jonava), Turkey (Tofas, Pinar Karsiyaka and Besiktas), Spain (Estudiantes, Gran Canaria, Vic and La Palma) and Colombia (Guerreros and Titanes). He won Colombian LPB championship title in 2020 and 2021. Tello-Palacios was voted to Eurobasket.com Lithuanian LKL All-Imports Team in 2014 and 2022.
