26-year old Luka Bozic (200-SF-1996) had a great game in the last round for league’s best team Zadar and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
He had a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Cibona (21-5) with 17-point margin 93-76. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. It allowed Zadar to take over top position in the Croatian league. Zadar have a solid 21-5 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Bozic as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Bozic has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in rebounds (8th best: 6.5rpg), assists (5th best: 5.8apg) and averages solid 55.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Lovre Basic (180-PG-1995) of Alkar. He is a guard in his first season at Alkar. In the last game Basic recorded impressive double-double of 19 points and 13 assists. Of course he led Alkar to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Zabok (7-19) 88-63. This victory allowed Alkar to move up to 4th position in the standings. 19 lost games are too many comparing to just seven victories Alkar managed to get this Second Stage. Basic is a newcomer at Alkar and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Ivan Novacic (201-F-1985) of Dinamo (#7). Novacic scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds. Despite Novacic’s great performance Dinamo lost 79-80 to slightly lower-ranked Bosco (#8, 9-17). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Novacic has individually a great season in Croatia. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 16.2ppg (8th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
