22-year old point guard Jan Razdevsek (191-PG-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Tarvas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 33.
He had the game-high 26 points adding five rebounds and eight assists for Tarvas in his team’s victory, helping them to crush Valmiera Glass (#15, 6-24) with 19-point margin 102-83. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Tarvas maintains the 16th position in LAT-EST BL . Too late to improve their position as they are currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 27 games and recorded just three victories. In the team’s last game Razdevsek had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tarvas’ top player in his first season with the team. Jan Razdevsek averages this season 13.5ppg and 4.8apg.

Second best performed player last round was Volodymyr Shevchenko (200-PF-1994, agency: BIG). He is Ukrainian forward in his first season at Tarvas. In the last game Shevchenko recorded impressive 30 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Razdevsek he helped Tarvas with another comfortable win 102-83 over slightly higher-ranked Valmiera Glass (#15, 6-24) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Tarvas is still at the dead bottom 16th position. 27 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Tarvas managed to get this year. Shevchenko is a newcomer at Tarvas and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.8ppg (#7). He also registered 5.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Kregor Hermet (204-PF-1997) of league’s second-best Kalev/Cramo. Hermet scored 19 points. He was a key player of Kalev/Cramo, leading his team to a 101-64 easy win against the lower-ranked Tallinna Kalev (#14, 7-23). Kalev/Cramo is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 25-5 record is not that bad… Hermet has a very solid season. In 10 games in LAT-EST BL he scored 10.4ppg.
