International Nedim Buza (205-SF-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for Bosna S. and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 27-year old had the game-high 20 points adding five rebounds and five assists for Bosna S. in his team’s victory, helping them to crush Mladost (#11, 3-14) with 21-point margin 89-68. Bosna S. maintains the 3rd position in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Bosna S. will need more victories to improve their 12-5 record. In the team’s last game Buza had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Bosna S.’s top player in his first season with the team. Nedim Buza averages this season 16.8ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young point guard Orhan Spago (182-PG-2002) of Zrinjski HT. Spago impressed basketball fans with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Zrinjski HT lost that game 70-104 to the higher-ranked Buducnost BN (#4, 12-5). Zrinjski HT is still in a red zone at 12th spot in the standings. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Zrinjski HT managed to get this year. Spago is a newcomer at Zrinjski HT and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was Vojin Ilic (200-F-2000) of Buducnost BN (#4). Ilic scored 22 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Buducnost BN, leading his team to a 104-70 easy win against the lower-ranked Zrinjski HT (#12, 1-16). Ilic has a great season in Bosnia. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 20.4ppg (4th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
