28-year old forward Bryan Jefferson (201-F-1994) had a great game in the last round for Umea and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 34.
He had the game-high 23 points adding eight rebounds for Umea in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Sodertalje (#8, 12-17) with 28-point margin 100-72. Umea is placed at 4th position in Swedish league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Umea will need more victories to improve their 17-12 record. In the team’s last game Jefferson had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Umea’s top player in his first season with the team. University of Mary graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jefferson is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 19.2ppg) and averages solid 57.9% FGP and 41.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Cole Welle (201-F-1996). He is American forward in his 4th season at Umea. In the last game Welle recorded impressive double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds. Of course together with Jefferson he helped Umea with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Sodertalje (#8, 12-17) 100-72. This victory allowed Umea to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team’s 17-12 record is not bad at all. Welle is one of the most experienced players at Umea and similarly like Bryan Jefferson has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward James Murray-Boyles (201-F-1997, agency: Players Group) of Norrkoping (#3). Murray-Boyles scored 21 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Norrkoping, leading his team to a 83-53 easy win against Fryshuset (#11, 0-29). Norrkoping needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 21 victories and 8 lost games. Murray-Boyles has a very solid season. In 27 games in Sweden he scored 10.5ppg. He also has 5.1rpg, FGP: 53.0% and 3PT: 42.1%.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
