Center Matija Radanovic (203-C-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Sezana, receiving a Hoops Agents 2SKL Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Nova Gorica (#9, 6-13) with 27-point margin 84-57. Sezana maintains the 6th position in Slovenian 2SKL. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Sezana will need more victories to improve their 12-7 record. In the team’s last game Radanovic had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Sezana’s top player in his first season with the team. Matija Radanovic averages this season 13.3ppg and 7.9rpg.

The second best player in last round’s games was young American Josh Thompson (183-PG-1996, agency: Interperformances) of Celje. Thompson had a very good evening with 30 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Celje was edged by the higher-ranked Jance (#2, 14-5) 80-77. Celje are still at the very bottom. 17 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Celje managed to get this year. Thompson is a newcomer at Celje, but is already one of team’s top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.2ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 6.4rpg and 3.2apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was Matic Lamut (2003) of Slovan (#5). Lamut showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Slovan, leading his team to a 106-85 easy win against the lower-ranked Portoroz (#8, 8-11). Lamut has a great season in Slovenia. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 16.4ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 9.0rpg (7th best). He also has 2.1spg, 1.9bpg and FGP: 65.0%.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
