American Jorden Randell (186-G-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for league’s second-best Metalac VL and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
The 26-year old guard had the game-high 32 points adding three rebounds and nine assists for Metalac VL in his team’s victory, helping them to crush Dynamic VP (#5, 14-8) with 20-point margin 103-83. Metalac VL maintains the 2nd position in Serbian KLS. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Metalac VL will need more victories to improve their 17-5 record. In the team’s last game Randell had a remarkable eight three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He turned to be Metalac VL’s top player in his first season with the team. University of North Texas graduate has very impressive stats this year. Randell is in league’s top in points (8th best: 15.7ppg), assists (4th best: 4.8apg) and averages solid 43.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young international power forward Dusan Beslac (205-PF-1998) of Vojvodina NS. Beslac impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Vojvodina NS to another comfortable win 88-73 over the lower-ranked Cacak 94 (#13, 7-15) being unquestionably team leader. Vojvodina NS’s 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team’s 16-6 record is not bad at all. Beslac is one of the most experienced players at Vojvodina NS and has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.6ppg (#1). He also registered 6.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Nemanja Protic (182-PG-1986) of top-ranked Zlatibor. Protic scored 29 points and passed five assists. Despite Protic’s great performance Zlatibor lost 85-86 to the lower-ranked OKK Beograd (#6, 12-10). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Zlatibor had another “accident”. It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 4th lost game is hopefully really an accident. Protic’s teammates are also very good. That’s why having such high stats is even more impressive. Protic has a very solid season. In 22 games in Serbia he scored 14.4ppg. He also has 3.6apg and FGP: 59.7%.
