29-year old forward Devin Gilligan (196-F-1993) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Fyllingen and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He recorded a triple-double of 19 points adding also 12 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team crushed Oppsal (#9, 6-19) with 24-point margin 109-85. Fyllingen maintains the 3rd position in Norwegian league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Fyllingen will need more victories to improve their 17-8 record. Gilligan turned to be Fyllingen’s top player in his first season with the team. Southern New Hampshire University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Gilligan is in league’s top in points (3rd best: 23.3ppg), rebounds (4th best: 11.7rpg), assists (5th best: 5.4apg) and averages solid 3.1spg and 65.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Petar Kutlesic (206-F-1994) of Centrum. He is Serbian forward in his first season at Centrum. In the last game Kutlesic recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 17 rebounds. Of course he led Centrum to another comfortable win 92-73 over slightly higher-ranked Ammerud Bskt (#7, 10-14) being unquestionably team leader. Centrum’s 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 10-15 record. Kutlesic is a newcomer at Centrum and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Cole Long (201-C) of Tromso (#4). Long scored 29 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was a key player of Tromso, leading his team to a 97-72 easy win against the lower-ranked Nidaros Jets (#11, 2-24). Tromso needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 9 lost games. Long has a great season in Norway. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 21.7ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 9.8rpg (8th best). He also has 1.0bpg, FGP: 57.6% and 3PT: 43.6%.

9. Milovan Savic (205-C-1987) of Gimle – 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Nikolas Skouen (191-G-1990) of Fyllingen – 27 points and 4 assists
