28-year old point guard Andrzej Mazurczak (188-PG-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for King and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 20.
He had the game-high 20 points adding eight rebounds and seven assists for King in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Legia (#6, 11-9) 92-77. King maintains the 4th position in Polish league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. King will need more victories to improve their 14-6 record. In the team’s last game Mazurczak had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be King’s top player in his first season with the team. University of Wisconsin Parkside graduate has very impressive stats this year. Mazurczak is in league’s top in assists (3rd best: 7.2apg) and averages solid 55.4% FGP and 44.2% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Novak Music (188-PG-1998, agency: BeoBasket) of Arka. He is Serbian guard in his second season at Arka. In the last game Music recorded impressive 28 points and 6 assists. Bad luck as Arka was edged by slightly lower-ranked Astoria (#15, 6-14) 88-85. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Arka dropped in the standings to 13th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 7-13 record. Music is well-known at Arka and he already established his position as one of the team’s leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Szymon Wojcik (208-F-1999) of Zastal (#8). Wojcik scored 26 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was a key player of Zastal, leading his team to a 108-88 easy win against slightly lower-ranked MKS DG (#10, 8-12). Zastal needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 9 lost games. Wojcik has a very solid season. In 19 games in Poland he scored 8.5ppg. He also has 4.1rpg and FGP: 72.4%.

7. Luke Petrasek (206-F-1995) of Anwil – 22 points and 5 rebounds
8. Brae Ivey (188-G-1997) of Czarni – 25 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Billy Garrett (198-SG-1994) of Legia – 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Phil Fayne II (206-C/F-1997) of King – 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
