A.J. Hess
Saint-Chamond-Basket-Valle-du-Gier (ProB) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old Armenian-American ex-international swingman A.J. Hess (201cm-95kg-1994, college: South Dakota State). Hess started the season at Santa Cruz Warriors (NBA G League) in the U.S. But in only one game he did not score anything and had only 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
He also represented Armenia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2021 Pre-Qualifiers four years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 13.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.0spg, FGP: 36.4%, 3PT: 50.0%.
Hess is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Belgium (Belfius Mons Hainaut), Bulgaria (Rilski), Canada (Guelph), Switzerland (Starwings), France (Aix Maurienne) and NBA G League (Wisconsin Hessrd).
His college team won Bulgarian Cup in 2022.
He graduated from South Dakota State in 2017 and it is his sixth season as a professional player.
