Alexey Shved
Shooting guard Alexey Shved (198-SG-1988) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked CSKA, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2 (Second Stage).
The 34-year old player got a double-double of 21 points and 13 assists, while his team crushed N.Novgorod (#5, 13-11) with 19-point margin 89-70. Thanks to this victory CSKA moved-up to the 1st position in VTB United League group A. It’s already very far into the season and CSKA keeps a perfect 24-0 record. In the team’s last game Shved had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. It’s his second year at CSKA and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Alexey Shved has solid league stats. He is in league’s top in points (3rd best: 17.1ppg), assists (2nd best: 7.9apg) and averages impressive 62.3% FGP.
The second best player in last round’s games was another CSKA’s star – young Serbian Nikola Milutinov (213-C-1994, agency: Octagon Europe). Milutinov had a very good evening with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Of course together with Shved he helped CSKA with another comfortable win 89-70 over N.Novgorod (13-11) being unquestionably team leader. He plays for the best team in the league and CSKA managed to win all 24 games keeping a perfect record. Milutinov is one of the most experienced players at CSKA and similarly like Alexey Shved has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.2ppg (#8). He also registered 8.7 boards per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was another CSKA’s star – Guyanese forward Livio Jean-Charles (205-PF-1993, agency: BeoBasket). Jean-Charles scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was another key player of CSKA, helping his team with a 89-70 easy win against N.Novgorod (#5, 13-11). CSKA have amazing season winning all 24 games without a single defeat in group A. Jean-Charles turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Jean-Charles has a very solid season. In 22 games in VTB United League he scored 12.4ppg. He also has 5.4rpg, 1.0bpg and FGP: 66.9%.
