VEF Riga entered Cup Final. They once again defeated the University of Latvia 99:71 gaining the lead in the two-game series with 193-130.
VEF Riga grabbed control with a 26-20 lead at the start and added strong 25-11 surge in the second frame. Both sides exchanged the baskets throughout the second half as VEF Riga marched to the victory.
Rayshaun Hammonds (206-SF-98, college: Georgia) scored 20 points for the VEF Riga team, whilst Artis Ate (194-SF-89) netted 17. Anrijs Miska (206-PF-00) and Emils Krumins (185-PG-01) each scored 13. Davids Viksne (195-SF-00) replied with 14 points in defeat.
