American Malik Porter (196-F) had a very impressive game in the last round for league’s leader Borisfen and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The forward had the game-high 18 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Borisfen in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass, the league’s bottom-ranked team Gomel (#6, 0-16) with 42-point margin 105-63. It allowed Borisfen to consolidate first place in the Belarusian Premier League. Borisfen have a solid 14-2 record. Porter turned to be Borisfen’s top player in his first season with the team. Malik Porter averages this season 13.4ppg and 7.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was another Borisfen’s star – young international guard Viachaslau Korzh (196-G-1986). Korzh impressed basketball fans with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course together with Porter he helped Borisfen with another comfortable win outscoring Gomel (#6, 0-16) 105-63. Of course Borisfen still keep Group A’s top spot. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 14 matches. Korzh is one of the most experienced players at Borisfen and similarly like Malik Porter has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Vladislav Lagodich (180-G-2002) of second-ranked Brest. Lagodich scored 21 points and passed five assists. He was a key player of Brest, leading his team to a 82-64 easy win against #3 ranked Rubon II in a game of the week. Brest needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group B. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 5 lost games. Lagodich has a great season in Belarus. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 17.9ppg (best scorer) and assists with 3.5apg (9th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
