Stella-Artois-Leuven-Bears (Pro Basketball League) agreed terms with 32-year old Dutch-Moroccan international forward Mohamed Kherrazi (200cm-1990). Kherrazi played last season at Heroes Den Bosch in Dutch DBL league. He managed to play in three leagues last year. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 8 DBL games he had 5.1ppg, 8.9rpg, 3.4apg and 1.5spg. Kherrazi helped them to win the league title and they also made it to the Cup final. He also played 6 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded 6.2ppg, 6.5rpg, 3.7apg and 1.7spg. And finally he contributed to 26 games in BNXT League where he averaged 5.5ppg, 6.6rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg. Kherrazi contributed to his team winning the group title.
He was voted to Dutch Eredivisie All-Star Game back in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Kangoeroes in Belgian Pro Basketball League. In 26 games he got 8.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5spg in that year. He contributed to his team making it to the cup final. He also spent pre-season at Feyenoord (DBL). Kherrazi was also tried-out by Landstede Hammers Zwolle (DBL).
He has been also a member of Dutch international program for some years. Kherrazi has regularly played for Dutch senior team since 2013 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2010.
He represented Holland at the Qualifications to European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2017 six years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 0.8ppg, 1.8rpg.
Kherrazi has played also professionally for other Dutch teams like ABC Amsterdam, ZZ Leiden and BV Lely Amsterdam.
