Semt77-Yalova-Belediye-Spor (TBL) signed 32-year old American shooting guard Lamont Jones (183cm-89kg-1990, college: Iona). It is actually his comeback to Yalova as he has played here before. Jones already started the season at SYNTAINICS MBC Weissenfels in German BBL league. In four games he had very impressive stats: 20.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.8apg and 2.0spg.
He is quite experienced player. Jones has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Finland (Kobrat), Japan (Kumamoto Volters), Montenegro (Mornar), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Saudi Arabia (Al Nasr and Al Ittihad), Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg and Skyliners) and Turkey (Yalovaspor). Jones played in the final of Montenegrin League in 2016 and 2017. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Montenegrin League All-Imports Team back in 2016 and 2017.
Jones graduated from Iona College in 2013 and it is his tenth season as a professional player.
